Soybeans oil is a kind of vegetable oils directly extracted from soybeans under the steps of neutralized, bleached and deodorized. They are often has a dark yellow or faint green colour with a high protein contents. It can be refined into edible products, e.g. cooking oil or as an ingredient of margarine and salad dressing and non-edible products, e.g. sources of biodiesel similar to palm oil.
Soybean meal is the by-product, remaining residue left from the extraction of soybean oil. They can be classified into two main categories: high-protein soybean meal is obtained from dehulled seeds; while conventional soybean meal is containing the hulls.
Soybean meal is toasted and prepared into animal feed, the most important protein sources for poultry, pork, cattle, other farm animals and pets. This primary source of animal feed enhances the metabolism procedures and immunity for growth of livestock. Animal feed industry has a great demand on soybean meal which improves the milk production in daily animals. Soybean meal also used for human consumption, like bakery products, nutritional products and considered as the alternative for meat products to gain protein content in the body.
